BORN4 - Blood money - Ghost jokes - Donnie Darko quote

Hey there traders!

Okay I’ll let you in on something. NEW BOURNE MOVIE! BORN4 is going nowhere but up! It’s selling at H$76 now, after an initial spike up to H$89 and a settle. Now that the stock has spiked once, it’s going up up to H$100 before the summer is over!

Also, I promised to explain to you in a post how I’m making fake money off the demise of two Hollywood legends. Here it is: Buy Paul Newman (PNEWM). He’s on his way out and he is way under priced for death! He’s trading at H$55 today, with a TAG of 84 million! This means when he kicks it, the bond will adjust to H$84! Sorry Cars 2! This is the attitude a trader has to have if he is going to make it out here in Hollywood. No mercy for the cancerous!

Short Patrick Swayze (PSWAY). The bond is overweight at H$10. Swayze’s TAG is just north of 3 million. Did you see Dirty Dancing 2: Havana Nights? Did Donnie Darko make money?

Swayze has the most deadly cancer; 1 in 5 people live more than 5 years with it. But you know what they say traders: who gives a shit? Short this bond and get paid. What’s Swayze gonna do – posses the body of Whoopi Goldberg from beyond the grave and come beat you up for it? Come into your office when you are trying to erase incriminating files from an 80s MAC and push the filing cabinet around to scare you?

But he’s a good actor and I feel bad about his dying for real.

Not Newman though. What a hack. The Quaker Oats guy is a better actor.

I’m pretty troubled and pretty confused. And I’m afraid, really afraid. Really afraid. But I think you’re the fucking anti-christ.

That’s my favorite line ever delivered to Patrick Swayze. What yours?

Later traders!

Day 2 (OF DARK KNIGHT WEEKEND)

Hey. traders! Today is day 2 of The Dark Weekend. BATM2 made 66 million last night. Almost 20 million from midnight screenings alone. Eat it Rocky Horror!

I am holding on for the weekend adjust. It would have to make 85 more millions to hit my goal sell price of 420 on Monday morning. So that’s simple, as is holding on to Aaron Eckhart (Two Face), and Michael Caine (Alfred), and the burlap-sack face guy. Those stocks are growing and the former two will adjust over 60 points combined when BATM2 de-lists.

I had so much confidence in The Dark Knight that I bought two puts for next weekend, on X-Files and Step Brothers. Today I rethought that, halfly. I sold my $30 STPBPU and bought up 8 thousand shares of the $30 STPBCA! But I am going to sell the stock right before the weekend. Or short it. I don’t think it will make even 33 million.

Going to buy back some of Where the Wild Things Are. Even though there are reshoots. Even though the Director’s cut made children cry (and beg to be let out of the theatre), even though Warner Brother’s doesn’t like it. The stock is cheaper now than it ever has been and the movie WILL COME OUT if I have to do the viral campaign myself.

Nothing else is going on, traders! Just go see The Dark Knight if you haven’t yet! Happy tradings!

P.S. LOOK OUT FOR THE MOVIE WE'RE THE MILLERS. only H$1.88 right now!

The Start of a Very Important Resource for Hollywood Stock Exchange users

Hello traders! Today I broke into the top 200,000 for the first time ever on Hollywood Stock Exchange, so it seemed like a good day to start a blog. My portfolio is just over H$ five million, and first I guess I’ll tell how it started. I started an account about two years ago and was given the option of 100 free shares of Indiana Jones Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (INDY4). I thought Indiana Jones would be a big hit, and so on first day of what I thought would be a new hobby, I decided to just dump all my starting money into the new crusader picture. The stock was at about H$150, and it grew a lot in two years that I never even thought about it.

In 2008, when a trailer for Indiana Jones Kingdom of the Crystal Skull jogged my memory, and I retrieved from my email and dusted off my HSX account info, INDY4 was just about to go into wide release and the stock had bloated to H$250. I sold it all then, which proved rash when the stock continued to climb after opening weekend, and as it prepares now to de-list at over H$300.

Then I took a bath on Where the Wild Things Are.

I stopped the bleeding and must have lost interest in something else in my life, because I started trading a little most days. I bought and sold for profit Shrek 4, the Tim Burton directed Alice and Wonderland upcoming from Disney, Jessica Alba, Borne 4, and others. This summer I made money successfully shorting The Love Guru. Currently about 80% of my profile is still in The Dark Knight (BATM2). This movie will adjust after the weekend to at least H$400. It won’t de-list that high, but it might come close. In any event I’m selling these shares immediately after the weekend, and probably putting most of the money back into BORN4, which has dropped H$10 since I sold at H$87.

I think it’s also a good time to pick up shares of Where the Wild Things are again, which today dropped to a year-low price of H$49. I don’t think Spike Jonze or the studio wants to give up on a live-action film of such a popular storybook yet.
Next post I will tell you about how I’m making money betting on the deaths of two great big stars, PNEWM and PSWAY. Talking about Swayze will also give me a chance to talk about my method of shorting stock. Until then, keep trading traders!
